Using an open standard called MCP, you connect our grappling database — and your own analyzed videos — directly to the AI tools you already use. No copy-pasting. No switching tabs. Just ask.

What you can do with it

  • Search the library — find any technique, position or submission across BJJ, Judo, Wrestling, Sambo & Catch.
  • Check the rules — compare per-ruleset legality (IBJJF, ADCC & more) for any technique.
  • Look up terminology — get the Japanese term, kanji and reading for any move.
  • Review your footage Supporter — ask what you hit, got caught by, or keep getting stuck in, straight from your own analyzed videos.
  • Recap a session Supporter — get a plain-language summary of any uploaded roll, with timestamps.

Set it up

Works with Claude · ChatGPT · Cursor · VS Code · Gemini · any MCP-compatible app. Connect with one-click sign-in (OAuth) or a personal access token.

Once you're a member, connecting takes three clicks:

  1. Open your AI app's connector settings (e.g. Claude → Settings → Connectors).
  2. Add BJJVA's server URL as a custom connector.
  3. Approve the one-click BJJVA sign-in — or paste a token from Settings → AI Connections for apps that use one.

FAQ

Yes — every query needs a registered BJJVA account (invite-only during beta). The grappling library is included with any account; asking about your own footage additionally needs a Supporter subscription.

Anything that speaks MCP — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini and a growing list of others. Clients connect with a one-click sign-in (OAuth) or a personal access token, whichever they support.

Your footage stays private to you. Access uses a token you generate and can revoke any time — only ever paste it into AI apps you trust.
