Description

A pressure-based guard pass where the passer maintains low posture, controls the opponent's legs/knees, and uses forward pressure to systematically clear the guard. The technique emphasizes staying tight to the opponent, preventing frames and guard retention while methodically advancing position.

It was created by Judo and BJJ black belt Roberto Tozi.

Common Applications

Highly effective against closed guard, butterfly guard, and open guard variations. Particularly useful when opponent has strong guard retention and framing abilities. Requires patience and methodical pressure application. Strong option for heavier or pressure-style grapplers.
