Description
A classic choke utilizing both lapels of the opponent's gi in a crossed position. The practitioner secures deep grips on opposite sides of the collar, with hands crossed forming an "X" pattern, and applies pressure directly to the carotid arteries. The traditional form involves four fingers inside the collar with thumbs outside.
