A control technique where the attacker places their forearm across the opponent's face/neck, typically from the side, to control their head and prevent movement. Can be used for control, to set up submissions, or as part of pinning combinations.
Common Applications
Fundamental control technique from side control, sprawl position, or scrambles. Used to control opponent's head and prevent escapes. Often combined with other controls for dominant positions. Can be stepping stone to submissions or used to maintain top control.
