- BJJ: Guard Sit, Butt Scoot Entry, Sit-Down Guard Pull
Description
A feet-first, no-jump entry into guard: the bottom player drops straight down onto the seat rather than jumping, immediately framing/hooking the legs to establish an open or butterfly guard. Can be done grip-free or with a standard sleeve/collar/wrist grip — the defining trait is the sit-down entry itself, not grip presence. Note: some rulesets require established grip contact before a guard-pull/sit is permitted (dropping to guard with zero contact can be penalized as stalling); this varies by ruleset.
