Description
The double leg is a takedown where you grab the opponent's legs while pushing their upper body forward, forcing them to fall back.
Common Applications
When the lift is denied and the opponent's hips sprawl back, finish from the front-knee position by trapping the near-side foot instead of continuing to drive for the lift — hook the outside of the same-side ankle (ko-soto-gake) or the inside (ko-uchi-gake), depending on which leg you control.
