Description
A finish from the Single Leg used against a defender who commits heavily to controlling/framing the attacker's securing arm, over-extending their own posture in the process. The attacker deliberately relaxes ('limps') the controlled arm rather than fighting the grip, using the sudden lack of resistance to create an angle and step around the opponent's defensive frame, exposing their base and completing the takedown from the new angle.
Common Applications
Counter to a defender who over-commits to fighting the attacker's grip on the leg; converts the opponent's own defensive pressure into an opening.
