Description
A common finish from the Single Leg position. With the opponent's leg secured tightly to the body and the head driven into their chest or ribs, the attacker steps to the side — away from the opponent's remaining posted leg — and bows forward, driving the captured leg through and down like passing a football between the legs, taking the opponent to the mat. Not a throw: the finish relies on driving through the leg and off-balancing forward rather than lifting or rotating the opponent. Often chained with the Double Leg Takedown as a follow-up if the initial finish stalls.
Common Applications
Primary finish from Single Leg when the attacker has secured a tight, low grip on the leg with head control on the same side; a common chain partner with the Double Leg (switching to one if the other stalls).
